About The Company
Founded in 2022, For Love and Landscapes is an intimate wedding and elopement photography company. The mission at For Love and Landscapes is to share love for the outdoors with other hopeless romantics. There are a few core beliefs here:
1. Love is love, beautiful in all forms.
2. The great outdoors are for everyone, regardless of ability.
3. Time in nature is the best remedy to the chaos of life.
This is a safe space to share your unique love story. The day you say "I do" is day one in a beautiful new journey. Great photography bottles the emotions, the kisses, the laughs, and preserves those memories for years to come. The night will end, the guests will leave, the flowers will wilt, but the photographs will last forever.

Hi, my name is Laura and welcome to my little corner of the internet! This is a place where we spend a lot of time day dreaming about romantic moments and fawning over every sunset in the mountains.
Let's get real: you want to vibe with your photographer on your big day, someone you feel comfortable with and you trust with your memories. That rapport takes time to build and it starts with a proper introduction. So let me give you a brief run down on who Laura is:
I grew up in Aurora and spent endless hours on the road camping in the Colorado Rockies as a child. It was an idyllic childhood in many ways. I developed a deep sense of belonging in nature and a passion for photography at a young age.
But, honestly, I didn’t have a clue how to incorporate that into my life other than weekend adventures. The expectation I developed early was to use my other skills to pursue a career, not photography.
So, I did just that: I got a degree in accounting from the University of Wyoming then spent years climbing that good old corporate ladder while my camera collected dust.
Then, one life changing day, eHarmony matched me with my husband, Josh. This whimsical, magical man swept me off my feet instantly. I knew my life was changed forever the first weekend we met. Long story short, 18 months later we were married, moving to a small mountain town neither of us had visited. We bought a home on a little patch of land where we could put down roots.
All of these big choices we jumped into together transformed my wildest dreams. I picked up my camera after a few (read many) nudges from my husband. We started a Real Estate Photography business, together. I spent time redefining myself while embracing full time mountain life.
During 2020, I was lucky enough to stay home and work remotely. Like so many people, I came to the realization that I wanted more for the next phase of my life than working 9-5 in the cubicle farm. Once that entrepreneurial spark lights, it spreads like wildfire!
After much reflection and contemplation, I started For Love and Landscapes. A company that believes the outdoors is for everyone and that love is love, beautiful in all forms. Capturing the beauty of the outdoors with couples in love is a dream come true. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!
